Sometimes I don’t have the luxury of time. But that doesn’t mean sloppy work, maybe not the most original, but at least you attempt to stand out while still presenting the information clearly.

It especially important when making xerox or copy machine flyers to always keep contrast. With contrast, you can make it seem like there is a lot more going on than their really is, while still presenting the information legibly.

Final Version

Been staring at Olly Moss’ excellent body of work. It conjures up Saul Bass and Depatie-Freleng’s Pink Panther animated titles: bold but minimalistic pop elements. I couldn’t help but let it influence my weekly flyer making.

The laser lights are photoshopped from a Ghostland show (an easter egg for Henry) Ultimately they didn’t like the turquoise on the bottom, but I am so into that color right now.
