Skateboard Deck Wall Hanging Project

The client wanted 5 Birch Woodgrain Decks designed and painted with a continuous semi-abstract design. In my planning staged, I began by taking a picture of all 5 decks and then creating a black template to print and directly sketch on. After 5 or 6 sketches, I did this semi-final draft with marker and rescanned it.

Talk Hard Cover Redo

Edit: Gonna leave it alone now but I made some more changes and made the teeth gray. I think it’s as readable as it’s ever gonna get. You won’t believe how many times I have drawn and redrawn those lips and veins in an effort to make them more legible. I think its much better than the last try.
